We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Specialist to support digital content creation and execution across two to three client accounts.

This is not a “post to stay active” role. You’ll be expected to translate strategy and news or policy development into sharp, on-brand content that resonates with real audiences across platforms and formats.

What You’ll Do

  • Write and develop high-quality social content across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok (TikTok and Instagram mainly require ideating and scripting of short-form video content)
  • Translate existing brand narratives into clear, compelling, platform-specific content
  • Create clean, branded visuals in Canva (graphics, carousels, short-form video assets all using existing client brand guides)
  • Develop, manage, and maintain content calendars tied to strategic priorities for assigned clients
  • Support short-form content development for digital platforms
  • Draft longer-form content including blogs, Substacks, and newsletters
  • Coordinate closely with the team to ensure alignment across accounts
  • Adapt quickly to real-time moments and rapid response needs when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong writer first and foremost—clear, concise, and adaptable across voices and formats
  • Experience managing social accounts with intention (not just volume)
  • Proficiency in Canva (please include examples)
  • Experience building and maintaining content calendars
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and tools like Hootsuite or Sprout
  • Ability to write in multiple tones/voices depending on the client
  • A creative, self-starting mindset—you don’t wait for instructions, you move things forward
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, sometimes reactive environments
  • Responsiveness during standard business hours

Strong plus:

  • Experience in public affairs, campaigns, journalism, or mission-driven organizations
  • Familiarity with Substack/newsletter writing
