The Office of Legislative Affairs (OLA) serves as the principal interface between the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the United States Congress. OLA ensures timely, accurate, and coordinated congressional engagement in accordance with Section 502 of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. § 3092), which requires that the congressional intelligence committees be kept fully and currently informed of U.S. intelligence activities.
